How to Setup OKTA Verify- WBD Screeners app and web

Those with access to early release WBD Screeners content, are required to enroll in OKTA Verify multi-factor authentication (MFA).  When a screener requires OKTA Verify, you will see a lock icon alongside the video.

 

 

How to Setup OKTA Verify - mobile (FIRST TIME SETUP)

 

OKTA verify must be downloaded onto a mobile device. You must have access to a mobile device to use the OKTA Verify application.

 

  • Log into WBD Screeners app or web.
  • Direct to your screener and press Play.
  • You will see the following note appear on your screen. 
    • Please direct to your email address and look for the email from OKTA Verify. This will contain your OKTA activation link.
      • IMPORTANT: Once received, the OKTA link must be accessed within 10 minutes or it will expire. 
         

 

 

 

  • Once you click on the Activate Okta Push Link in the email using your mobile device, it will prompt you to download the OKTA Verify app. Once you complete enrollment, your account will appear in the OKTA app. This means the process is complete.
    • Note: You will see the number sequences change frequently in app. You do not need to do any additional steps to enroll. You will not use these numbers to approve notifications. 
       
  • Direct back to WBD Screeners and refresh the screener. You will receive a prompt on your screen that a notification has been sent to the OKTA verify app.
  • press yes via OKTA on your mobile device, the content will resume playing via WBTVD or WBD Screeners.

 

 

 

 

Have a new phone or need to reset OKTA? Steps to reset:

 

  • Direct to WBD Screeners and play an OKTA (MFA) protected screener (lock icon). You will see the message below. Please click on 'Reset OKTA Verify' to get started:

 

 

 

  • Once you have selected the reset option, please direct to your email and click on the link sent to you from OKTA Verify.  A countdown will appear to ensure you access the reset link before it expires. If you do not access the link within the 10 min countdown, the message will prompt to confirm if you require a new link:

 

 

  • When you have successfully enrolled, your screen will display a success message:
