Register or Reset OKTA for WM Employees

This tutorial explains how to setup/reset OKTA Verify.  If you are a Warner Media employee who has access to in-release movies or TV pilots. Then, you are required to use OKTA Verify for multi-factor authentication (MFA). If you've recently gotten a new phone, you'll have to reset OKTA Verify. Note: RSA is not the same as OKTA verify.

* YOU MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE CORPORATE NETWORK AND HAVE ACCESS TO BOTH A COMPUTER AND YOUR MOBILE DEVICE.*

Steps:
 

  1. From a desktop/laptop/computer while you're connected to the corporate network, log into https://mfa.warnermedia.com
    Note: (mobile devices will not work)


     
  2. If you are resetting-- Revoke your OKTA Verify and press register. (skip this part if you do not have this option)
    1. If you have not yet enrolled (i.e. you do not see the revoke button)---Click Register

4. Scan the bar code by using the OKTA Verify App on your mobile device by clicking "Add Account"

NOTE: if you have successfully enrolled in OKTA and are receiving push notifications but are unable to access- please ensure the device which has OKTA installed, has the time zone set to 'Automatic'.
